There has been in explosion in the number of Film Works “sightings” happening around town!  Here is a compilation of some of the best sightings in the past week:

This picture was sent to us courtesy of Ray Bindenost of Chef Robert Motion Picture Catering, whose employees now wear these tee-shirts when working on location:

This picture is of Ghostlight’s Cyril O’neil, who has been strong supporter of Film Works:

The following picture, taken on-campus at USC,  is of one of the 400 Film Works posters going up at Los Angeles area bus shelters and information kiosks:

This picture is of a Film Works supporter’s car (the “perf” was provided and installed courtesy of Ghostlight):

This picture is of a screen shot for a new pilot shooting in L.A. called “Holt & Randy”:

This picture is of the signage for a project called “Control” (the Film Works graphics on the sign courtesy of JCL Barricade):

Finally, this picture is of a Film Works banner on display in the Hollywood apartment of a Film Works supporter:

Are pictures and sightings alone going to help?  No.  However, they do help raise awareness about the campaign, which is CRITICAL at these early stages.  The message Film Works is trying to send will not be of any use if there is no audience.  That said, we are asking for your help!!

Here are some things you can do:

  • Become a fan of Film Works on Facebook, “like” the Film Works web site, and encourage others to do the same.
  • Download and print the Film Works fact sheet and share it with your family and friends to help educate them about the importance of the film and television industry to the region.
  • Film Works also encourages you to watch the following video and then email it to as many people you know, especially if they live in California!  Let’s get a conversation going about the benefits this industry brings, and start saying “thanks” to the local communities doing all they can to be film friendly:
